AMIS Conclusion scores 8.5 in Computable’s IT employer survey
“Dutch IT professionals working at IT organisations are becoming less satisfied with their employers,” states Computable in its recent employer survey, conducted by Enigma Research. IT professionals assessed their employers across sixteen categories, thirteen of which scored lower than in 2023. Despite this trend, Conclusion AMIS entered this year’s overall ranking with an impressive score of 8.5. We also achieved top-three positions in several of the survey’s category rankings.
Proud of our high ranking for company culture, working atmosphere and collegiality
The survey of 1,746 IT professionals shows that, in 2024, employees place the greatest value on their employer’s financial stability, company culture and working atmosphere, and the nature of their work and responsibilities. Against the downward trend, we are particularly proud to have entered the overall employer ranking this year with a score of 8.5. We also secured second place in the category covering company culture, working atmosphere, colleagues and collegiality!
A close-knit team where no one stands alone
André van Dalen, Managing Director at Conclusion AMIS, explains: “Helping each other is deeply rooted in our company culture. Our culture is open and transparent, and colleagues are always there for one another. Anyone can reach out at any time, whether they need help with a technical problem, a personal challenge or want to share a hobby. We encourage and support each other because we see how it makes us all better and happier. We are all part of our winning team.”
Internet of Things and Big Data as key topics
Alongside assessing sixteen employer-related aspects, participants were asked which IT topics were particularly relevant to them. Conclusion AMIS also achieved strong results here: first place for Internet of Things (IoT), second for Big Data and Data Management, fifth for Agile/Scrum and thirteenth for Cloud Computing and Virtualisation. These are impressive results for a relatively small company, particularly given the international IT giants featured in the rankings.
IT expertise in insurance, energy and other services
The survey also ranked employers by industry. Conclusion AMIS achieved second place in insurance and insurance services, energy, gas and water, and other services. Robbrecht van Amerongen, Business Development Manager at Conclusion AMIS, explains: “Every AMIS colleague feels responsible for the critical systems we deliver to energy companies, public transport, insurance, logistics and healthcare organisations. These systems must keep running around the clock. Business processes depend on them at every moment of the day. That is why we consider this carefully from the design stage, preventing unnecessary work and disruptions during development and operation. Our customers recognise the expertise and experience we bring to our work. Our architecture and designs are carefully considered, allowing us to respond smoothly to new opportunities or unexpected situations. We regularly hear customers say: Conclusion AMIS does what others only talk about.”
A few examples of projects in these industries:
Stichting CIS: Since 2018, our work on the CIS database has supported a crucial function in the insurance sector for 45 insurers and almost 300 intermediaries. AMIS manages and maintains the CIS application landscape, including extensions and ongoing system development. The CIS database is consulted 3.5 million times a month for applications, acceptance decisions, fraud detection and money laundering prevention. The platform therefore plays an essential role in detecting €100 million in insurance fraud annually in the Netherlands.
30 years of experience in robust data solutions for critical syste
“With more than 30 years of experience in designing, building and managing data-intensive systems, we understand what our customers need. Data must always be available, up to date, accurate and secure. Our colleagues are energised by building robust solutions that directly impact critical systems in Dutch society,” says André van Dalen.
Great results and a strong team spirit
He continues: “People at AMIS love developing surprising solutions for our customers. We are driven to achieve great results together, combining hard work with relaxation and team building. We organise monthly AMIS dinners and an annual AMIS weekend, where colleagues get to know each other better outside work. We aim to be both the best and the most enjoyable company in our field. It is wonderful to see our team recognised in this employer survey. We are on the right track, but we keep striving to improve and always welcome new colleagues!”
