AMIS hosts Conclusion’s monthly drinks
The power of connection:
At AMIS Conclusion, connection is at the heart of everything we do. We connect data, systems and technology to help organisations move forward. But the strongest connection remains the one between people. Getting to know each other, sharing knowledge and taking an interest in one another’s work lay the foundations for collaboration. This happens during projects, but also over relaxed conversations, food and drinks. The AMIS Jazz Café brought colleagues from across the Conclusion ecosystem together, with plenty of opportunities to catch up and make new connections.
A Thursday evening at the AMIS Jazz Café
Each month, one company within the Conclusion ecosystem hosts our monthly drinks. Last Thursday, it was our turn. For one evening, the 21st floor of Conclusion’s headquarters in Utrecht became the AMIS Jazz Café. With live music, food and drinks, it provided the setting for a relaxed end to the working day. There was space to reconnect with familiar faces and meet colleagues you had not spoken to before. In an ecosystem with so many different companies and areas of expertise, these moments are valuable. You may not work with everyone every day, but an informal meeting makes it easier to reach out later. The gathering was also an opportunity to hear more about one another’s work and get to know the people behind the different Conclusion companies.
Catching up with colleagues across the ecosystem
There was plenty of time to catch up and meet new people at the AMIS Jazz Café. Some colleagues work together regularly, while others know each other mainly by name or from online meetings. An evening like this offers the chance to talk beyond work: about a project someone is excited about, but equally about music, weekend plans or shared interests. You get to know the person behind the role and have something to pick up on the next time you meet.
For us, this is where Conclusion’s strength lies. With so many areas of expertise under one roof, some of the best connections happen at the bar. A good conversation, a new idea or perhaps the beginning of another collaboration. Everyone brings their own knowledge, experience and perspective. Sharing these helps us discover how our expertise can complement one another’s. A colleague may be working on a challenge you recognise, or you might hear about an approach that could benefit your customer too. An initial conversation can lead to a follow-up discussion, an introduction or an idea developed together. Informal encounters help bring the knowledge within the Conclusion ecosystem together in practice.
"The best collaborations often begin very simply: meeting each other, sharing ideas and taking a genuine interest in what someone else does. That is precisely why evenings like these are so valuable."
André van Dalen
Managing Director AMIS Conclusion
At AMIS Conclusion, we connect data, applications, systems and technology every day. But the connection that makes everything possible is the one between people.
Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the AMIS Jazz Café such an enjoyable evening: the colleagues who organised it, the musicians who created the atmosphere and everyone who came along to catch up or meet someone new. We look back fondly on the evening and hope the conversations continue beyond the Jazz Café. Reach out, ask that follow-up question or meet for a coffee soon. Knowing each other, finding each other and moving forward together: that is the strength of the Conclusion ecosystem. Here’s to the next one!
