Patrick Stevens appointed CTO at AMIS Conclusion
NewsOn 17 July 2023, Patrick Stevens (52) was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at data and integration specialist AMIS Conclusion. He succeeds Lucas Jellema, who became CTO of parent company Conclusion on 1 May. In his new role, Patrick will focus primarily on using effective and innovative technologies to improve customer services. This appointment strengthens AMIS Conclusion’s reputation as an innovator in the technology and IT sector.
Patrick is no stranger to AMIS or the Conclusion ecosystem of expert companies. He joined AMIS as a Principal Consultant in 2013. In 2017, as Lead Architect, he helped launch one of Conclusion’s largest-ever projects: Royal FloraHolland’s multi-year cloud migration within Conclusion Flora. Drawing on his experience in automation, standardisation and digital transformation, he progressed to become CTO of Conclusion Flora, now Conclusion Enablement, in 2019. This demonstrates both his extensive technological expertise and his ability to work across different companies within the Conclusion ecosystem.
Commenting on his appointment, Patrick says: “After 4.5 years at Conclusion Enablement, I felt it was time for a new challenge. What could be better than returning as CTO to the Conclusion company where my professional journey began, working on challenging projects in IoT, data and integration engineering? As CTO at AMIS, I have the opportunity to work alongside the AMIS colleagues I deliberately chose to join all those years ago. AMIS’s approach and way of thinking closely align with my own vision. For me, it feels like things have truly come full circle.”
André van Dalen, CEO of AMIS Conclusion, says: “I am pleased to welcome Patrick to our team. His expertise and focus on quality, productivity and innovation will help us continue our commitment to sustainable IT. For us, sustainable IT means innovative, well-built IT that delivers lasting returns and continually evolves. In other words, IT that makes an impact without becoming outdated.
“I am convinced that appointing Patrick as CTO will take our organisation to the next level. Our focus on delivering impact and success for our customers and society, combined with our expertise in real-time data to enable intelligent operations, already makes AMIS Conclusion successful. An even stronger emphasis on technical expertise, reuse and making the best use of technology from partners such as Microsoft and Oracle will allow us to help more organisations make a difference through ‘connected IT’.”
Within AMIS Conclusion’s management team, Patrick will focus on the core of the profession. He explains: “Technology is important, but above all as a tool for delivering tangible results for our customers. I aim to create synergy between these two aspects, with challenging projects driving innovation. Making customers happy with high-quality, innovative solutions, preferably in the shortest possible time. That is rewarding for everyone involved.”
Patrick is determined to encourage collaboration within the Conclusion ecosystem, working with companies whose expertise connects with AMIS’s own. “By joining forces and sharing expertise, we can develop innovative solutions that go beyond what we could achieve individually. Collaboration is the key to discovering new opportunities to improve our customers’ performance even further. I look forward to working together and warmly invite everyone to get in touch. Let us explore how our combined efforts can contribute to your success.”
