begin strategic partnership Better and Conclusion

Better and Conclusion bring openEHR innovation and data-driven healthcare platforms to the Netherlands

Better, a leading provider of open data digital health platforms, and Conclusion, a Netherlands-based ecosystem of expert companies in IT services and business transformation, have announced a strategic partnership to drive innovation and data interoperability across healthcare organisations.

The collaboration aims to strengthen the openEHR community in the Netherlands and empower hospitals and care providers to build modern, open, and sustainable digital health systems that are centred around patients and clinical data. Better digital health platform, based on openEHR, and its low-code development tools, Better Studio, will help Conclusion enhance its healthcare solutions portfolio and enable healthcare organisations to modernise their IT architecture. Together, the companies will develop new capabilities, promote open standards, and support providers in adopting interoperable, future-ready data platforms.

Collaborating to enable
smarter, data-driven healthcare

The partnership unites two organisations with a shared commitment to openness, interoperability, and sustainable innovation. Better brings deep expertise in openEHR technology and data platforms that enable clinicians to design digital health applications safely and with ease. Conclusion contributes its ecosystem model, combining business transformation, IT infrastructure, software development, and domain-specific healthcare expertise. This includes the expertise of Furore Conclusion and D&A Conclusion, both dedicated to the healthcare sector.

By combining their expertise and capabilities, Better and Conclusion will help healthcare organisations transition from monolithic systems to modular architectures that place clinical data at the core. This approach allows data to remain available and reusable across systems, empowering hospitals to innovate faster and improve patient outcomes.

We are thrilled to partner with Conclusion, a company that shares our vision for open, data-centric healthcare systems,” said Petar Abadžić, International Markets Director at Better. “Together, we are creating an environment where healthcare organisations in the Netherlands can take control of their data, innovate with confidence, and adopt future-proof solutions that truly serve clinicians and patients.”

Our collaboration with Better fits perfectly with our mission to create smart and connected ecosystems that deliver real value to society,” said Ann Ouvry, market director healthcare at Conclusion. “By integrating Better’s openEHR-based platform into our digital healthcare solutions, we can help care providers move toward more flexible, data-driven environments. This partnership will enable us to bring innovation faster to healthcare professionals — and ultimately improve care for patients.”

Transforming care for the next generation

The partnership represents a significant step forward for the Dutch healthcare sector, where interoperability, data ownership, and system modularity are becoming key strategic priorities. With Better’s technology and Conclusion’s transformation expertise, the collaboration will equip healthcare providers with the tools to simplify integration, accelerate innovation, and ensure long-term data accessibility.
