Conclusion has been awarded the contract by the Netherlands’ National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) for the management and further development of Peridos, the national information system for prenatal screening. With extensive experience in healthcare, Conclusion supports healthcare organisations in delivering digital transformation that works in practice.
Peridos is the national information system used to support, secure and register prenatal screening in the Netherlands. The platform enables the secure processing and exchange of data between healthcare professionals, laboratories and screening organisations, supporting the entire prenatal screening pathway. As such, Peridos plays an essential role in ensuring that prenatal screening is carried out carefully, reliably and on time within the public healthcare system.
The tender therefore places stringent demands on reliability and continuity, including a 99.9 per cent uptime requirement due to the medically critical nature of the service. Functional application management is carried out by the Coöperatie Landelijk Bureau Prenatale Screening (CLBPS). Conclusion will be responsible for the technical management, hosting and ongoing development of Peridos on the AWS platform. The contract has an initial term of four years, with the option to extend twice for an additional three years.
